Dr. Daniel Walters, DPT, CCRP
Dr. Daniel Walters, DPT, CCRP, is passionate about enhancing the well-being of pets through professional physical therapy and rehabilitation. After spending 15 years treating human patients, Dr. Walters was inspired to bring his expertise to the animal world when his own dog required rehabilitation. That experience revealed a simple truth—pets deserve the same evidence-based care as people.
Driven by that belief, he founded The Pet PT in Castle Rock, CO, to provide specialized physical therapy for dogs and cats. His mission is to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve the overall quality of life for every animal he treats—because rehab isn’t just for humans; it’s for every family member, paws included.
Dr. Walters takes a collaborative approach, working closely with veterinarians and pet owners to design individualized treatment plans tailored to each pet’s unique needs. His services range from therapeutic exercise and manual therapy to customized home programs that ensure continued progress between visits. To make care accessible for all families, The Pet PT also offers house calls and virtual programs.
At the heart of Dr. Walters’ work is a deep respect for the bond between pets and their people. Every session is guided by compassion, science, and a shared goal: helping animals live their happiest, healthiest lives.
