Christine Berta, CVT Hospital Manager

Christine, CVT

Until recently, Chris called Chicago home. She has a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and worked for over a decade in banking as an auditor and director of IT planning & budgeting. She took a professional hiatus to raise her two children, Tom & Kate, and then pursued a lifelong dream of working with animals. In 2014 she graduated with a degree in veterinary nursing and became certified as a veterinary technician. She is passionate about wildlife conservation and has worked in a variety of medical facilities as a CVT, including a zoo and a wildlife rehabilitation center. She also worked as an adjunct instructor in veterinary nursing, teaching Pharmacology at a community college in Illinois.

Her current position as practice manager brought her and her husband Jeff to Castle Rock, Colorado where they now live with their two dogs, Mac and Kane. In her down time, she hopes to bring her interest in photography to a new level. She also loves reading, crossword puzzles and traveling to new places with her husband and friends. Chris is excited to be a part of a team that promises to listen, educate, and care for your pets in the most loving and attentive way possible.
